This 4x4 game is a lot like Gran Turismo, a lot of cars, different tracks and tournaments to play through. Career mode has a good setup, buy a car, upgrade (a lot of options) and a lot of races to go through. A couple of problems though.
First off you can't really tell what kind of car you need for a race series. Yes there are classes and types allowed per race, but how fast the competition is, you don't really know. Then talking about the competition, they are pretty fast, even in the amateur series and they always cut the tracks to the next checkpoint. I like that you don't need to stick to the road, this is 4x4 racing after all, but the tracks are sometimes a bit pointless.
Another problem, for people like me who like to 'gold' all races. A race has the status 'completed' no matter what result you have. So you can complete all races finishing last... So which race I have won and which I haven't, I really don't know.
Overall it is pretty fun, the driving feel is OK, cars bounce a lot, but it is a big 4x4 driving off road, so it shouldn't feel like a race car on a race track. And buying and upgrade more cars is - like GT - always one of the nice aspects of a race game.
