Game company
Volition was formed after the splitting of Parallax Software. The company was acquired by THQ in August of 2000. After THQ filed for bankruptcy in December 2012, the company was acquired by Koch Media's Deep Silver division and renamed Deep Silver Volition. In November of 2022, the company was moved under Gearbox Entertainment.
