Imagine Software

Formed by former members of Bug-Byte Software in 1982, Imagine would go bankrupt less than two years later, a process captured in an episode of the BBC 2 documentary series Commercial Breaks. Upon folding, employees of Imagine would go on to help establish other companies including Psygnosis and Denton Designs later in 1984. The rights to the brand Imagine Software were subsequently purchased by Ocean Software, who used it as a label until the late 1980s.
