Bethesda Game Studios Dallas

Founded as Escalation Studios in 2007, the then independent company was first purchased by 6waves in January 2012. This relationship didn't last long as 6waves decided in March 2012 to focus on publishing games rather than developing them, and Escalation became independent again. The company was then purchased by ZeniMax Media in 2016. In 2018, ZeniMax restructured Escalation as a subsidiary of Bethesda Game Studios and changed its name to Bethesda Game Studios Dallas.
