Harvest Moon [US]

Natsume was the company which published Story of Seasons [牧場物語] games under the name of "Harvest Moon" outside of Japan. After Marvelous Entertainment decided to publish the Bokujou Monogatari games through their American subsidiary, XSEED Games, the new games were released as Story of Seasons since Natsume was the owner of the "Harvest Moon" name. Natsume published their own Harvest Moon games, unrelated to the Bokujou Monogatari games. This franchise refers to the Natsume-exclusive Harvest Moon games.
